New for Christmas, 2024
The Four Seasons
This design is based on a traditional Celtic “Tree of Life”. The colours signify the four seasons of the year, as seen on the leaves of my crabapple tree. Grey at the bottom signifies winter, light green on the left signifies Spring, darker green at the top signifies summer, and the bright yellow on the right signifies autumn. The jack rabbits on the left inhabit my back yard. The deer on the right lives in Bragg Creek, just outside of Calgary.
This card is intended for celebrations of Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, the Solstice, the Equinox, birthdays, and any other significant changes of season, whether in life, or in the cycle of the year.

Spring 2024 Collection –
“Knight and Dragon” and “Dame and Unicorn” – Slàinte Mhaith ([slanj’ wa] is the Gaelic way of wishing you health and good fortune.
These cards are suitable for birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations marking the guest of honour’s most recent achievements.
“Dogs in Love” and “Cats in Love” – they’re so excited to be together that they’ve gotten all tangled up. If you and your special someone are feeling that way, or if you know a special couple who can relate, these cards are the perfect way to help celebrate! They’re the perfect accompaniment to your engagement, wedding, and anniversary gifts.
Below are the Christmas cards I made to sell in 2023. They are in the Celtic style, but I deliberately changed them to create my own designs, by taking apart some copyright-free designs from one of Gord’s scrollsaw books, and collaging the pieces together. I then added my own colours and hand-drawn lettering. (They are blank inside.)
The Cats –
These two medieval-style cats are so excited to wish your friends a “Meowy” Christmas that they’ve gotten all tangled up with each other.
The Tree –
The Christmas Tree has so much personal meaning to so many people at this time of the year.
This one is made of three Celtic trefoils, with another three trefoils composing the star on top.
Friendship Plant –
The Friendship Plant, also sometimes called the Heart Plant, is two heart shapes intertwined with each other, and overgrown with stylized foliage. It’s based on a traditional Celtic symbol for human relationships.
It makes a great thank you card, or a “thinking of you” card, or even a Valentine’s Day or Anniversary card.
The Shepherd Angel –
The Shepherd Angel is on his way to greet the Shepherds in Bethlehem, and bring them good news! He knows he’s close – the sheep are guiding him on his way.
The Saint –
An all-occasion card that evokes the medieval scribes who copied the Gospels. His green and red cloak is reminiscent of modern Christmas decorations.
The Magi –
Also known as The Three Wise Men, they want to wish your friends and loved ones a season of peace.
